Welcome to Microsoft To Do

Microsoft To Do is a simple and intelligent to-do list that helps you manage all your tasks in one place. You can work through your tasks for the day in My Day and create any number of additional lists to organize your work, groceries, travel, shopping, movies to watch - you get the idea!

In each list you can add as many tasks as you like. Keep everything on track by setting due dates and reminders for each task and starring your most important tasks. Use steps to break down your larger tasks in to more manageable pieces and notes to record extra details. Since all of your tasks are stored on Exchange Online servers, they'll also appear automatically in Outlook tasks.

My Day and suggestions

Use My Day to help focus on daily tasks. You can add new tasks directly to My Day, or add tasks from other lists, by selecting a task to view its details and then selecting Add to My Day. You can also use suggestions to pick tasks to add to My Day. To see suggested tasks, select the suggestions icon at the top of the My Day list.

The My Day smart list resets every night, so you have a blank slate to add the tasks you want to accomplish each day. Any tasks in My Day that aren't completed before the list resets will be saved to your Tasks list and included in your suggestions the following day.

Connect with Outlook

To view your tasks in Outlook and manage your flagged email directly in Microsoft To Do, sign in with the same personal, work, or school account that you use for email.

All tasks are stored on Exchange Online services, so they'll appear in both Microsoft To Do and Outlook automatically.

Create and Share Lists

Create a list

To create a new list, select + New List in your list menu. This will create an untitled list that you can rename.

Share a list

To share a list, open the sharing menu by selecting the sharing icon in the top right of any list you've created.

Once the sharing menu opens, select Create Invitation Link Copy Link, then paste the sharing link in your favorite email or messenger app to send to your collaborators.
